Well we're in Pavones and it's at the end of the world! I live in a two story shack (by American standards!) and have bunk bed and a queen size bed in a loft a small kitchen, a shower and a toilet! oh and did mention NO Hot Water! It's not much but it will do for the next two months! And I live next door to the Police station!
Well Pavones is great, everyone here is really nice, but my spanish must get better! THere is not much here in the town but it has enough to get by! there are 2 stores a few restaurants the cantina 2 internet cafe's, yoga studio, school, surf shop and a lot of cabainas!
So the journey down here was not easy, it was long and bumpy! First we got up at 5:45 am to get to the bus station at 6:30am! The bus was nice it was a charter bus and had windows you could open. So the bus was 8 hours though the mountains and lowlands. we stopped a few times and ate and went to the bathroom. then we took a taxi for 2 hours to from Golfito to Pavones! The road to pavones was slow and full of potholes! but we made it and met Dean and Ingrid my bosses and got settled in to my little house! see pictures below!
We were super tired from our trip down that we went to bed at 7:30! we then got up at 7:30 and I went surfing! I then got dehydrated and had to sleep and was a little sick for the last 2 days. but I think I'm better now and will be fine for now! Tomorrow we will go to the Panama border to get me supplies for my little house! Hopefully I will be able to get online tomorrow or Wednesday! miss everyone a lot!
